The 2nd Conference on Health, held under the theme "For a new governance of the health sector", opened its proceedings on Monday in Marrakech.

Organised by the Ministry of Health until 3 July, this conference was marked by the message addressed by HM King Mohammed VI to the participants.

This meeting aims to examine the priorities of the health system on the basis of the expectations of citizens and the aspirations of health professionals, as well as the horizons for the development of the national health system.

During these sessions, five themes will be scrutinised, namely general medical coverage, the efficiency of financing systems and governance in the health sector, equal access to medical care, professional internships and the qualification of health professionals, the new challenges of public health in the face of morbid transformations as well as medical safety.
