The city of Marrakech will host from 30 May to 1 June 2013 the 14th International Pharmaceutical Forum under the theme "All for medicine, medicine for all, South-South cooperation".
This international event organised by the AMIP (Moroccan Association of the Pharmaceutical Industry) will bring together nearly 1,500 participants from around thirty countries as well as international experts (WHO, Unicef...).
The main objective is to promote and develop South-South pharmaceutical cooperation by taking advantage of European and Maghreb experience.
According to Abdelghni El Guermai, president of the organising committee and the AMIP, this meeting will be an opportunity for participants to enrich and exchange their experiences, harmonise regulations and develop an African pharmaceutical industry.
Let us recall that the 13th International Pharmaceutical Forum was held on 5, 6 and 7 June in N'Djamena, capital of Chad, in the presence of more than 500 pharmacists from 19 African and world countries. This forum had been placed under the theme "Access to medicines", a major issue for the African continent.
