Larache is modernising at a rapid pace. It is situated in the north of Morocco, approximately 86 kilometres from Tangier.

The town of Larache is served by the A1 motorway (connecting Tangier to Rabat) and, as a result, is located about 79 km from Tangier Ibn Battouta International Airport and 168 km from the capital, Rabat.
