Craftsmanship in the spotlight

The province hosted the Regional Craft Fair, organised by the Chamber of Crafts and the House of the Artisan under the aegis of the Ministry of Crafts and Social and Solidarity Economy.The Regional Craft Fair closed last week in Khémisset. The event, which took place at the Place Al Massira, saw the participation of 70 artisans. This event, which lasted for a week, allowed the public to discover the multiple aesthetic facets of the artisanal product of the region. The stands notably exhibited products of traditional weaving, embroidery, ceramics, wood, etc. According to Abdessalam Lamghari, president of the Chamber of Crafts of Khémisset, the organisation of this fair was an opportunity for artisans, operators of the craft complex and professionals to discuss the problems of this sector which remains a repository of the authenticity of the Moroccan artisan's know-how.
