The university at the service of renewable energies

In his opening remarks, Soufyane El Hasnaoui, president of the Robotics and Renewable Energies Club, stated that the club has, since its creation in March 2011, placed a major interest in knowledge and know-how in the fields of renewable energies and robotics.

He also specified that this space, entirely managed by students, is open to all concerned actors with a view to ensuring a sharing of knowledge and encouraging invention, innovation and development. The primary objective of this second edition, he notes, is to promote training, cooperation, technology transfer, exchanges of experience and expertise between ENSA students, doctoral students, university professors and professionals in the field. The deputy director of the ENSAK, Hassan Erguig, for his part, stressed that this day is part of the extracurricular activities organised by the students of the ENSA and more particularly by the Robotics and Renewable Energies Club. "We all know, he says, the interest that our country has been taking for some years in this theme, which has been concretised by the implementation of several large-scale projects initiated by H.M. King Mohammed VI". The deputy director of the ENSAK cited, in this regard, the Moroccan Integrated Solar Energy Project, launched on 2 November 2009 in Ouarzazate and the Moroccan Integrated Wind Energy Project launched on 28 June 2012 in Tangier. He did not fail to recall that these major projects aim to strengthen supply from national resources, to reduce the Kingdom's energy dependence and to preserve the environment. Note that the morning was illustrated by the organisation of two panels hosted by experts and presidents of companies operating in the field of renewable energies. The first panel chose as its theme "Wind energy in Morocco: situation and prospects" and the second panel focused on "Wind energy: problems, new technologies and innovations".

The second part of the day was devoted to the organisation of three workshops dedicated to techniques and trades in the field of renewable energies.

Objectives of the ENSAK Robotics and Renewable Energies Club. Among the objectives that the club has set for itself: the development of scientific and technical projects in the field of renewable energies, robotics and embedded systems, the organisation of technical training for the benefit of the school's engineering students, the organisation of study days, conferences and workshops, participation in national and international competitions as well as the organisation of technical visits to the various industrial sites operating in the field of renewable energies.
