The Maghreb Association of Automobile Sports (AMSA) of Casablanca organised, on Saturday, the Grand Prix of the city of Kénitra, under the aegis of the Royal Moroccan Federation of Automobile Sports (FRMSA). This race, in which several automobile sports clubs affiliated to the FRMSA participated, was organised within the framework of the celebration of the 10th anniversary of HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, the president of the AMSA, Saïda Ibrahimi, indicated to the MAP. Three categories of cars took part in this race, which took place on a closed circuit under beautiful afternoon sunshine. In the M1 category (less than 1.6 litres), first place went to Hicham Mennane of the Pôle Position Association of Casablanca, while the second and third positions were taken, respectively, by Amine Mennan and Maâz Hakim of the Maghreb Association of Automobile Sports of Casablanca. The prize for the M2 category (1.6 to 2 litres) was won by Marnissi Youssef, of the Tanger Racing Club, followed by his teammate Sbai Smail and Ahemdi Samir of the Champion Sport of Tangier. In the M3 category (more than 2 litres), it was the driver Michel Benibgui, of the Gazelle Association of Casablanca, who came in first, followed by the drivers of the Tanger Racing Club, Jawad Tammar and Marnissi Omar. The prize-giving ceremony took place in the presence, in particular, of the Minister of Equipment and Transport, Aziz Rebbah, the Pasha of the city, the president of the FRMSA, and local authorities.
