Launch in Sefrou of the project “Together, let's change our lives”

The national project “Together, let's change our lives”, an ambitious initiative designed to encourage self-employment opportunities for young people, was launched on Friday in Imouzzer Kander in the Sefrou province.

This project, initiated by the associations “Greenside Development Foundation” and “Youth for Youth”, with the support of the World Bank and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, aims to support young people in creating income-generating activities and micro-enterprises to secure their future and consolidate the local economic dynamic.

Speaking on this occasion, the president of the “Greenside Development Foundation”, Ali Aaouine, highlighted the socio-economic importance of creating production units for youth, noting that the project aims to support and coach young people in the Sefrou province in terms of business creation through training sessions, adding that the project also tends to help young people structure their economic activities and projects and benefit from state support.

For his part, the executive director of the “Youth for Youth” association, Ahmed Rizki, stated that this ambitious project tends to develop support paths for young people at the local level, ensure training sessions and awareness campaigns on self-employment for their benefit, and strengthen their professional capacities.

According to him, this project concerns less qualified young people aged between 18 and 30, adding that the project benefits some 400 young people from different regions of Morocco at the national level in order to help them set up their own economic projects.

This meeting was initiated under the theme “Together for the strengthening of micro-entrepreneurship for young people”.
