Youth integration supported by the "Greenside Development Foundation"
Immouzer Kandar offers few employment opportunities to its young people, like many mountain towns that remain under-equipped and underdeveloped. Whether graduates or not, they are often prey to poverty, socio-economic marginalisation, and unemployment. Based on this observation, the "Greenside Development Foundation" association was created in 2012 in Immouzer Kandar to help disadvantaged young people and the unemployed. It launched the youth aid and support programme to create and develop their own businesses ("Creating Jobs For and by Youth"). Sponsored by the United States Embassy in Morocco, with the support, among others, of Anapec, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and the Enactus club of the Hassania School of Public Works, this programme targets unemployed young people aged 18 to 35 who have business creation projects, with a view to ensuring their economic inclusion.
