Since its launch in 2012, the Ifrane Astronomy Festival has focused on promoting astronomy among young people, highlighting the discipline as a facilitator for learning science at school. This festival represents, in more ways than one, a flagship scientific and cultural event in the national landscape and could, in this International Year of Light 2015, contribute to the influence of Morocco on an international scale.
