A budget of 72,769,825 DH has been allocated to development projects affecting the rural communes of Béni Tadjit, Talsint, and Bouchaouen, in the province of Figuig.
Inaugurated by the governor of the province of Figuig, Driss Benaddou, the projects undertaken at the level of the commune of Béni Tadjit relate to the construction of a multipurpose socio-educational complex (3.4 MDH), financed by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Policy, the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH), the provincial council of Figuig, the rural council of Béni Tadjit, the Development Agency of the Prefecture and Provinces of the Oriental, and the Ministry of Culture, and official housing for a nurse (267,630 DH), financed by the Ministry of Health and the territorial upgrading programme, as well as the renovation and equipment of a water point in Ksar Ait Yaakoub (161,400 DH), financed by the National Mutual Aid and whose works were launched on this occasion.
In the commune of Talsint, these projects concern the renovation and equipment of a water point in Ait Aamar (121,200 DH/National Mutual Aid), the development of a public square (23 MDH/Ministry of the Interior), the acquisition of an ambulance (465,000 DH), and the widening and strengthening of regional road N. 601 (Tidjit-Talsint), whose works were launched over 34 km (31.2 MDH/Ministry of Transport and Logistics).
In the commune of Bouchaouen, three water points will be renovated and equipped in Boutjout, Laqssira, and Lehmada (344,400 DH/National Mutual Aid), in addition to the construction of a communal school (13.9 MDH) financed by the Ministry of National Education within the framework of the emergency programme.
