The new Es-Semara bus station opened its doors on Thursday, handling the traffic of travellers, coaches, and grand taxis. This infrastructure aims to improve the reception and comfort conditions for passengers while ensuring efficient management of travel flows.
The inauguration of this new station took place in the presence of several officials, notably the Wali of the Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra region and Governor of the Laâyoune province, Abdeslam Bekrate, as well as the Governor of the Es-Semara province, Brahim Boutoumilate, accompanied by local elected officials. This project is part of the urban upgrading programme for the city of Es-Semara and required a budget estimated at 12.2 million dirhams (MDH).
