5th stage of the “Ana Maa'k Ya Chabab” Caravan, this Monday in Errachidia

The 5th stage of the “Ana Maa'k Ya Chabab” (Youth, I am with you) Caravan will be held on 20 and 21 May in Errachidia, at the initiative of the United Nations Office in Morocco, in partnership with the local authorities of Errachidia and the city's Faculty of Sciences and Techniques.

This caravan is part of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) “8 for 8” campaign, launched in October 2010 for a duration of five years. It is organised by the United Nations in Morocco in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, and the Ministry of Communication.

After Chefchaouen, Oujda, Marrakech and Meknes, it is the turn of the city of Errachidia to host the caravan, which is intended to be a space for communication and dialogue for young people, on their vision of development priorities in their region.

Students from the Faculty of Sciences and Techniques of Errachidia will participate in two days of workshop-debate, the results of which, entitled “Voices of Youth”, will be presented to local authorities, national partners as well as the United Nations.

These workshops will be marked by the participation of the rap group H-Kayne, in its capacity as Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
