El Jadida has its Marjane hypermarket!
On Tuesday 10 December, the city of El Jadida inaugurated its first Marjane hypermarket, the 33rd in Morocco. 6 other openings are planned across Morocco in 2014.
The Marjane chain continues to expand. On Tuesday 10 December, this brand inaugurated a 33rd hypermarket in El Jadida in the presence of Mouâad Jamai, governor of the province, and Mohamed Lamrani, general manager of Marjane Holding. "The establishment of the Marjane brand responds to a real expectation of the inhabitants of the province and will contribute to dynamising the city, encouraging investment in the territory, creating jobs, and ensuring social and territorial cohesion", specifies a statement from the brand.Located on a plot of 4.64 hectares, the overall project required an investment of 94 million dirhams excluding land. The shopping centre includes a 6,840 m2 hypermarket, as well as a 5,160 m2 shopping arcade with 15 shops and a catering area.
