Arrival of Maqdessi children in Morocco
About fifty Palestinian children arrived on Wednesday in Casablanca to participate in the 6th edition of the summer camps in Morocco, organised by the Bayt Mal Al-Qods Acharif Agency.
Placed under the High Patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, the 2013 edition is named after the late HM Mohammed V, in realisation of the Kingdom's benevolence towards Palestinian children, in particular, and the populations of the Holy City, in general. Upon their arrival at the Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca, the Palestinian children, aged 11 to 14 (girls and boys), were welcomed notably by senior officials of the Bayt Mal Al-Qods Acharif Agency and the airport director. After a brief visit to Casablanca, the Palestinian children, all from the city of Al-Qods Acharif, are to travel to El Jadida where the guests of Morocco will spend a two-week holiday, filled with cultural, educational, artistic, and sporting activities.
