50 children from the Holy City, aged between 11 and 14, have been selected to travel to Morocco from 18 June to 2 July. These guests will discover the beauty of the Kingdom's natural sites and its ancestral traditions.

The Bayt Mal Al-Qods Acharif Agency is organising, from 18 June to 2 July, a summer camp in El Jadida for the benefit of 50 children from Al-Qods, as part of the 6th session of summer camps dedicated to the children of Al-Qods and named "Late H.M. Mohammed V Session". For this 6th edition placed under the High patronage of H.M. King Mohammed VI, President of the Al-Qods Committee, the Agency has prepared a rich programme allowing participants, aged between 11 and 14, to discover Morocco through its civilisational heritage, its natural landscapes and the development projects that are engaged there under the leadership of H.M. King Mohammed VI, specified the director of cultural, social and educational affairs at the Agency, Mohamed Benyahia. The programme also provides for the organisation of the "Al-Qods Day", on 20 June at Mohammed V Square, in commemoration of the visit of the late H.M. Mohammed V to the holy city, indicates Benyahia, adding that a photographic and book exhibition as well as artistic activities are planned as part of this day. Among the activities scheduled for the 6th session, the screening of a documentary on the visit of the late H.M. Mohammed V to Al-Qods Acharif, the visit of the historical sites of El Jadida and the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca, in addition to a getaway to the city of Azemmour where participants will go to craft workshops and benefit from entertainment activities. The previous session, named "Late H.M. King Hassan II Session", was organised at Saidia beach for the benefit of 51 children from Al-Qods. Created in 1998 at the initiative of the late H.M. Hassan II, the Bayt Mal Al-Qods Acharif Agency is a non-profit institution that works for the preservation of the identity of the holy city and its religious, cultural and civilisational character, through the financing of various programmes and projects in collaboration with Arab-Muslim and international partners. It also sets itself the objectives of providing aid to the populations and institutions of Al-Qods Acharif and working for the protection of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the rehabilitation of the historical monuments of the city.
