The province of El Jadida will acquire a new Emergency Medical Assistance service (SAMU).
The Ministry of Health thus proceeded, on Tuesday 21 May, to the signing of a partnership agreement relating to the establishment of this new SAMU.
This project, with a total cost of 69 million DH, will cover twenty-seven communes within the territory of the El Jadida province.
The objective is to improve the pre-hospital care of patients and to reduce cases of death of accident victims, or those with serious illnesses, before their arrival at Emergency services.
It is thus a question of reducing the deaths of pregnant women at home or during their journey to birthing centres or hospitals.
