Boufakrane city

Boufakrane (in Arabic: بوفكران) is a city in Morocco. It is located in the Meknes-Tafilalet region.

During the struggle for independence, the diversion of the Oued Boufekrane in the 1930s to irrigate farms held by settlers caused serious riots that resulted in several dozen deaths among the farmers penalised by this diversion.
