About Berrechid
Berrechid (برشيد in Arabic) is a Moroccan town, the administrative centre of the Berrechid Province, in the Chaouia-Ouardigha region. It is located 30 km from Casablanca, the economic capital. This small town has 70,000 inhabitants (2007). Berrechid is known for its industrial zone, ranked 3rd in the whole country after those of Casablanca and Tangier. Agriculture is not absent in this town, as its contribution to the Moroccan national level is 13.25%.
