After a romantic relationship that lasted a whole dozen months with a fifteen-year-old minor, R. L. was arrested by elements of the Royal Gendarmerie of Benslimane for the abduction of a minor and indecent assault followed by defloration. The accused, a day labourer by trade, originally from the Douar El Kattaba in Benslimane, had abducted this teenager, ten years his junior, for a year, expressing his love to her. Yielding to his advances, the teenager began sleeping with him in the agricultural fields of the region to the point of losing her virginity.

However, a child who had surprised them a year ago in the act recently threatened to inform her father. Fearing being beaten by her parents, she ran away. Her destination was the family of her lover who welcomed her. Her father eventually filed a complaint with the Benslimane gendarmerie, which immediately launched an investigation that resulted in the arrest of the young man. He confessed to having abducted this minor and having forced her to sleep with him while promising her marriage. The young man was brought before the courts.
