One person died and three others were injured, one seriously, in a road accident that occurred on Monday evening between Tnine Chtouka and Azemmour, local authorities indicated.

The accident occurred around 7:30 pm at PK 150 on the Mohammedia-El Jadida motorway, the same source added, specifying that a light vehicle heading towards El Jadida veered off its lane for a reason yet to be determined, colliding head-on with another car coming from the opposite direction.

The people injured in this accident were evacuated to the hospital, according to the same source.
