While awaiting the summer rush and the influx of domestic tourists, the Agadir destination welcomed nearly 570,000 tourists by the end of May 2025 in classified tourist accommodation establishments. As for the total overnight stays achieved, they rose to 2.387 million from January to May, compared to 2.173 million for the same period in 2024.
As the end of the school year approaches, attention turns to Agadir, where the evolution of the national market – the main provider of tourists during the summer season – is attracting particular vigilance. Despite the good momentum recorded since the beginning of the year, in the wake of 2024, the domestic market is showing a decline: between January and May 2025, arrivals fell by 9.49% and overnight stays by 6.20% compared to the same period of the previous year.
