The third edition of the International Argan Congress will be held from 17 to 19 December 2015 in Agadir, at the initiative of the National Agency for the Development of Oasis and Argan Zones, the Ministry of Agriculture and Maritime Fisheries, the High Commission for Water and Forests and the Fight Against Desertification, and the National Institute for Agricultural Research. Placed under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, this event, which is held every two years, aims to share scientific and technical knowledge between national and international researchers, forest managers, economic actors, and institutions, as well as to contribute to the implementation of the argan sector's programme contract on solid scientific bases, indicates a statement from the National Agency for the Development of Oasis and Argan Zones.
