Closing of the Grand Salon of Pharmacists of the South

Closing of the Grand Salon of Pharmacists of the South

The Alliance of Pharmacists' Unions of the South (ASPS) organised, on 13 and 14 February in Agadir, the third edition of the Grand Salon of Pharmacists of the South. The proceedings of this meeting, held under the aegis of the Ministry of Health and the National Federation of Pharmacists' Unions of Morocco (FNSPM), were structured around the theme "Regionalisation is an urgent obligation for the success of the new medicine and pharmacy policy in Morocco".

The salon brought together the various actors and stakeholders in the health sector, including unions and authorities, with the objective of developing reform projects relating to the organisation of the profession. The scientific aspect was not left out, as the meeting was marked by the organisation of workshops led by renowned university professors, all within the framework of continuing education. The organisation of the salon comes in a context marked by the establishment, in September 2014, of a special provisional commission to replace the Regional Councils of Community Pharmacists of the North and South, dissolved in February of the same year. As a reminder, this commission is responsible for organising the elections of the members of the regional councils of community pharmacists of the North and South.
