A new Consul General of the Kingdom of Spain

A new Consul General of the Kingdom of Spain

Lyre Lozano Mendia has been appointed Consul General of the Kingdom of Spain in Agadir. The year 2010 was an important moment in this diplomat's career when she joined the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation. It was a year during which she worked in Amman as a trainee diplomat, before moving within the same ministry to the position of Head of Department in the technical cabinet of the ministry's secretariat.

She also worked in the General Secretariat for Fisheries from 2011 to 2014 as a legal advisor.

In this regard, the new Consul General obtained a degree in legal sciences in 1999. A year later, she obtained a diploma of advanced studies. And in 2001, she obtained her master's degree in foreign affairs from the Ortega y Gasset University Institute in Madrid. This young diplomat holds the Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française (DALF). It should be noted that the city of Agadir and its regions are home to a good number of Spanish nationals working in the fields of agriculture, fishing and the processing of fishery products.
