The 10th edition of the Timitar Festival "Signs and cultures" will take place from June 26 to 29 in Agadir with a program featuring a constellation of artists from diverse horizons and different sensibilities, sharing the passion of singing about love, joy, and fraternity.

“From Najwa Karam to Kadem Essaher, passing through Samira Saïd, or even Jimmy Cliff, Gilberto Gil, Kool & The Gang, Carlinhos Brown, and The Earth Wind & Fire Experience, the Timitar Festival positions itself as a high place of cultural exchange between national artists and internationally renowned artistic ambassadors”, indicates a statement from the organizers.

For its 10th anniversary, Timitar promises an exceptional program with names like Majda El Roumi, Cheb Khaled, Marcel Khalifé & the Al Mayadine Ensemble, Kenny Rogers, Hanggai, and Idir. Furthermore, Latifa Raafat, Nass El Ghiwane, Fnaïre, Fatima Tabaamrant, Hoba Hoba, Oudaden, Ahmed Soultane, and many others will come, once again, to prove that the national artist is at the heart of the success of the Timitar festival with one million spectators.

To do this, the organizers are planning three stages placed in the heart of the city of Agadir, more than sixty shows, judiciously arranged artistic sets, and essential Moroccan and Amazigh voices alongside about twenty international groups presenting the rich diversity of world cultures.
