Tribute to the woman of the Souss

The Regional Directorate of Culture of Souss-Massa organised, on Monday in Agadir, a tribute ceremony for a galaxy of women from the region who have marked, through their action, various sectors. Speaking on this occasion, the Regional Director of Culture, Mokhtar Farouki, indicated that the woman, mother, wife, sister, daughter, associative activist, politician, human rights activist, engineer, doctor is, in a word, the builder of society. Every woman deserves to be honoured, but priority must be given to women in the rural world given the social, economic and cultural context in which they live and their uninterrupted labour, he stressed.
