A Youth Centre was inaugurated on Monday in Tan-Tan for an estimated cost of 1.955 million dirhams. This new structure intended for young people, inaugurated by the governor of the Tan-Tan province, Abdellah Chater, consists of a sports hall, a multi-purpose hall, a reception area, a games room, a school support centre, a computer room, and a music room.
The provincial director of the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication - youth sector - in Tan-Tan, Ibrahim Khalil Ailoul, indicated that this project is part of the ministry's strategy aimed at creating new-generation institutions throughout the national territory, by rehabilitating and equipping existing establishments and modernising their services to make them cultural and artistic spaces par excellence.
He stressed that the opening of this establishment, as a space for social and democratic learning, allows young people to have opportunities for meeting and integration into society, to open up to others, and to learn the values of tolerance and solidarity between the different categories of society.
