The Chamber of Handicrafts of the Marrakech-Safi region organized, last Wednesday, a ceremony to pay tribute to the artisan woman under the banner "For the enhancement of the role of the artisan woman in regional development". Speaking on this occasion, the President of the Chamber, Hassan Choumias, stressed that this initiative came to highlight the avant-garde role of artisan women in the economic and social development of the country and their contributions alongside men in numerous fields.

During this ceremony, which saw the participation of local elected officials and civil and military personalities, a visit to the cultural and commercial exhibition of products by artisan women was organized. The Chamber of Handicrafts also organized at the Regional Library of the city of Safi a round table on the theme of "The artisan woman between creativity and constraints".
