Golf: Return of the champions to the courses of the Royal Golf Dar Es-Salam
And the suspense and excitement continue with the return this weekend of the champions to compete on the courses of the Royal Golf Dar Es-Salam.

Since its creation in 1971, the Hassan II Trophy has constantly reinvented itself. From an exhibition tournament, it has become a stage of the European circuit before establishing itself as one of the competitions of the Professional Golfers' Association (PGA) Champions Tour.

For one week, the tournament public will have the opportunity to enjoy the presence of great names who have marked the world of golf since the 1990s.

As for the Lalla Meryem Cup, it holds a special place in the hearts of all the champions, as it has historical roots in the capital, Rabat.

In reality, this competition is an integral part of the Hassan II Trophy, with which it shares history and location. This association between the two tournaments gives them a uniqueness that has inspired similar formats in Australia and Sweden, testifying to their importance, success, and distinctiveness.

This year, two Moroccan professional golfers, Inès Laklalech and Maha Haddioui, are participating in the competition with the shared ambition of inscribing their names in the list of winners.

The Hassan II Trophy has undergone a significant evolution that has allowed it to shine while retaining the elements of its authenticity: the iconic courses of its terrain steeped in symbolism, legendary players, and the vision of the late King Hassan II, who wished to make it a tool for economic and tourism promotion for our country.

All this is the result of the work accomplished by the team of the Royal Moroccan Golf Federation and the Hassan II Trophy Association, who continue their efforts to serve golf under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, and thanks to the professional vision of His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid, president of the Royal Moroccan Golf Federation and the Hassan II Trophy Association.

Thus, the courses of the Royal Golf Dar Es-Salam in Rabat are beautifully prepared to welcome the return of exceptional players. As usual, the Lalla Meryem Cup will host the elite of the best European golfers from the Ladies European Tour.
Let the celebration begin!
