The Mohammed VI Centre for Supporting Solidarity Microfinance (CMS) launched the Solidarity Fair for Micro-entrepreneurs on Tuesday in Mohammedia, which continues until 31 March.
This event, the opening of which was presided over by the governor of the Mohammedia prefecture, Hicham M'daghri Alaoui, is part of the promotion of inclusive entrepreneurship and the enhancement of local know-how.
This fair honours the talents of artisans, cooperatives, and very small enterprises (VSEs) that are beneficiaries of the products and services of microcredit associations, while offering the public a unique experience of discovering and purchasing local products, reports MAP.
The Solidarity Fair for Micro-entrepreneurs is intended to be a showcase for local creators, offering them a platform for visibility and the marketing of their products. With 70 exhibitors spread over a 1,000 m² space at Parc Mohammedia, visitors can explore a diversity of creations combining tradition and innovation. From artisanal products to local specialities, this fair reflects the richness of the Moroccan cultural and economic heritage.
This initiative is in line with the actions carried out by the CMS to consolidate the Moroccan entrepreneurial fabric and promote inclusive economic development. In collaboration with its ecosystem, the CMS is committed to supporting micro-entrepreneurs through training, commercial support, and networking programmes.
The Solidarity Fair for Micro-entrepreneurs perfectly illustrates this mission by offering beneficiaries of microcredit associations an opportunity to enhance their skills, expand their clientele, and contribute to local economic dynamism.
