Marrakech – The Provincial Human Development Committee (CPDH) of Marrakech province approved, on Wednesday, 211 projects and activities for the 2025 fiscal year with a total budget of 79.17 million dirhams, including a contribution of 65.515 million dirhams from the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH).
Distributed across the four INDH programmes, these projects and activities were approved during a meeting dedicated to the adoption of the 2025 action plan for the implementation of INDH programmes.
Regarding the programme to address deficits in basic infrastructure and services in the least equipped territories, 13 projects were adopted with a budget of 13.22 million dirhams (MDH) financed by the INDH.
The CPDH meeting, chaired by the Wali of the region, governor of the prefecture of Marrakech, Farid Chourak, validated, within the framework of the programme to support people in precarious situations, 46 projects and activities for a total cost of 25.02 million dirhams, including 16.35 million dirhams contributed by the INDH, with the aim of supporting precarious populations and strengthening social inclusion.
The approved projects also concern the programme to improve income and economic inclusion for young people, with 94 projects budgeted at 17.42 million dirhams, of which 14.86 million are financed by the INDH.
There is also the programme to boost human capital for future generations, with 58 projects costing 23.39 million dirhams, including an INDH contribution of 21.17 million dirhams.
This meeting was also marked by a presentation from the social action department of the Marrakech prefecture on the INDH's action programme at the provincial level for the year 2025, as well as the screening of an institutional report on the programme to support youth entrepreneurship.
Furthermore, four partnership agreements were signed on this occasion, one within the framework of the programme to support people in precarious situations and three within the framework of the programme to improve income and economic inclusion for young people.
On this occasion, Mr. Chourak highlighted the efforts made by the local and provincial governance bodies, as well as by all partners who contributed to the development of this annual programme in line with the High Directives of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
In this regard, he stressed the need to target the real needs of the province's populations to ensure a tangible and sustainable impact, emphasising the importance of enhanced coordination between the various stakeholders to guarantee effective and integrated project implementation.
On the sidelines of this meeting, Mr. Chourak supervised the handover of equipment and materials acquired within the framework of the INDH to three associations working to support people in precarious situations.
He also presented five school transport buses intended for several local authorities, as well as five utility vehicles, acquired within the framework of the INDH.
