In Tassoultante, located on the southern edge of the Marrakech urban area, the Royal Gendarmerie has uncovered a prostitution and drug network. As of now, 15 individuals, including tourists from Gulf countries as well as Moroccan women, will be presented on Monday before the King's Prosecutor in Marrakech.
Indeed, the judicial division of the Royal Gendarmerie is preparing to present this Monday 15 individuals, including seven Gulf nationals and eight Moroccan citizens, arrested following an operation conducted this Saturday in an isolated villa located in Tassoultante, on the outskirts of the ochre city.
Following meticulous investigations, the authorities discovered that the villa served as a hideout for prostitution and the promotion of drugs as well as unauthorized alcohol. The raid orchestrated by the elements of the judicial division of the Royal Gendarmerie revealed a true network of depravity, where considerable amounts of drugs and alcoholic beverages were seized.
The suspects were caught in the act, enjoying a night of drunkenness and debauchery. The investigators also seized several tools corroborating their links to these illegal activities, thus indicating the existence of a well-oiled structure.
Currently placed in pre-trial detention, these 15 individuals will be presented to the King's Prosecutor after the conclusion of a preliminary investigation conducted by the judicial police, with a view to unveiling additional details surrounding this criminal network and exploring its potential ramifications within society.
