The occupancy rate in Marrakech's EHTCs reached 71% during the first ten months of the current year, compared to 67% during the same period in 2023.
Regarding arrivals, Marrakech-Menara Airport recorded a 33% increase during the first ten months of the current year compared to the same period in 2023.
This airport infrastructure welcomed some 3.53 million arrivals at the end of last October, compared to 2.64 million during the January-October 2023 period.
For the month of October alone, the volume of tourist overnight stays in Marrakech's EHTCs recorded a 5% evolution, specifies the Tourism Observatory.
During last October, the number of overnight stays in Marrakech's EHTCs reached 999,459, compared to 954,493 during the same period in 2023.
The occupancy rate in Marrakech's EHTCs reached 81% during October of the current year, compared to 79% during the same period in 2023.
As for arrivals, Marrakech-Menara Airport recorded a 47% increase during last October compared to the same period in 2023.
Thus, this international airport infrastructure welcomed 429,982 passengers during October, compared to 291,903 in October 2023.
At the national level, the volume of overnight stays in EHTCs reached more than 24.1 million during the first ten months of 2024, an increase of 10% compared to the same period a year earlier, according to the Tourism Observatory.
In October 2024 alone, EHTCs recorded more than 2.74 million overnight stays, a growth of 14% compared to the same month of the previous year, with a 19% increase in international tourism and 2% in domestic tourism.
