The Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch, presided on Thursday in Rabat over the signing ceremony of an investment agreement with the Chinese group Sunrise, a world leader in the textile sector. This strategic partnership aims to strengthen Morocco's competitiveness in the textile industry by setting up two new industrial units in Skhirat and Fez.
With a total investment of 2.3 billion dirhams, this large-scale project is expected to generate 7,000 direct jobs and more than 1,500 indirect jobs, thus strengthening Morocco's position in global value chains.
