The National Mutual Aid (Entraide Nationale) is deploying its "Warm Winter" 2024-2025 operation for the homeless.
The initiative, launched from the Bensouda Centre, aims to provide assistance and comfort to homeless people, a population particularly vulnerable to the rigours of winter.
The operation, the fourth of its kind since the beginning of the winter season, saw the teams of the National Mutual Aid deploy into the darkest corners, where the homeless find refuge (abandoned buildings, deserted parks, and other makeshift places).
On-site, the teams do not just distribute aid; they engage in dialogue with the people they meet, seeking to understand the circumstances that led them to the street.
