K. B. is originally from the rural commune of Timoulilt, Caïdat of Afourar, in the Azilal region. To earn a living, the majority of the young people from his Douar have moved to Casablanca, Rabat, El Jadida, and other cities. But he never thought about moving away from home. He always thought about staying close to his parents, who are very old and need him. This did not encourage him to get married even though he was in his thirty-seventh spring. However, since he could not earn a living in his Douar, he was forced to go to the centre of Afourar, which is only a few kilometres from his parents' home, where he obtained money for himself and his parents. He even rented a small house in the El Jadid district where he spent his nights after a day of chores. From time to time, he spent moments there with girls of joy.

However, on that night of Thursday 11 April, it was not him who spent the night there in the company of a prostitute, but his friend, H. H., aged twenty-three, originally from Aït Âttab, falling under the circle of Bzou, Azilal province, and who lives in Fkih Bensalah. Around 5:00 pm, K. B. said goodbye to his friend H. H. and the girl of joy who was accompanying him to go spend the night at his parents' house.

The next day, Friday 12 April, around noon, K. B. returned home. He knocked on the door, but no one opened for him. Why? Have his friend and his girlfriend left?

Surely not. He took out the spare key and opened the door. Very quietly, he entered. And it was a bad surprise. The girl of joy had already lost consciousness and his friend was still under the influence of alcohol. K. B. called the civil protection elements. Upon arriving, they noticed that she had already passed away. The elements of the Royal Gendarmerie were alerted. What exactly happened for this girl of joy, aged thirty-two, originally from Khouribga, to give up the ghost? H. H., K. B.'s friend, remembered nothing.

The investigation is still ongoing to determine the causes of the girl of joy's death. In the meantime, K. B. found himself behind bars, in the company of his friend, H. H.
