About Tanalt
Tanalt refers to both a Berber region and its administrative centre (village) which are located in the Moroccan Anti-Atlas, approximately 120 km south-east of the city of Agadir.
Tanalt is known for housing the Sidi Elhaj L'hbib Quranic school, one of the most respected traditional schools in the region. Students come from all over the Agadir region and beyond to learn the Quran and study its interpretation.
