About Tafersit
Tafersit (in Arabic: تفريست) is a Moroccan rural commune in the subdivision of Driouch and the Oriental region, located in the Rif. It has an urban centre, Tafrisset.
It has a total population of 10,403 inhabitants (2004).
Formerly attached to the province of Nador, the commune of Tafersit has been part of the province of Driouch since its creation in 2009.
