Four schoolchildren dead in a railway accident
Two people lost their lives on Thursday in a railway accident between the municipality of Bir Jdid and the locality of Tnine Chtouka, according to a railway source.
The accident occurred around 21:30, when a passenger train coming from El Jadida and heading to Casablanca struck a light vehicle at an unguarded level crossing, killing two men on board.On 21 May, four schoolchildren lost their lives and 16 others were injured, five of them seriously, in a similar accident at Ouled Hassoun Al Hamri near Benguerir, 60 km from Marrakech.
