This new partnership concerns the sponsorship of the Ezzaouia public primary school in Nouaceur for a period of 3 years and will reach more than 1,200 students.
In the context of its social commitment to improving the education of the young population in rural areas, the Casablanca Stock Exchange is renewing its partnership with the Regional Academy of Education and Training (AREF) of Greater Casablanca and the Al Jisr Association.
This new partnership concerns the sponsorship of the Ezzaouia public primary school in Nouaceur for a period of 3 years and will reach more than 1,200 students, the objective being to improve the learning conditions of the schoolchildren and to support the establishment in the design and development of an ecological project, emphasised the Casablanca marketplace, Wednesday, in a statement received by MAP.
To do this, four programmes will be implemented, namely: "The Ecological School", which aims to improve the basic learning of students, and "Learn To Act", a volunteering programme consisting of contributing to the fight against school dropout and strengthening the link between the school and the student through extracurricular activities.
It is also a question of a preschool programme, which consists of the application of an innovative pedagogical approach for early childhood, and the "AMALE" programme, aimed at supporting the school in its empowerment by strengthening the capacities of its teaching teams, adds the same source.
"Through its total commitment alongside the Al Jisr Association and the Ezzaouia school, the Casablanca marketplace intends to contribute to the improvement of preschool education conditions for children, particularly in rural areas, with a view to building a better future for the women and men of tomorrow," declared its Director General, Karim Hajji, on this occasion.
The Casablanca Stock Exchange and the Al Jisr Association will also combine their efforts to meet the needs of the Ezzaouia school in terms of infrastructure.
The Casablanca marketplace noted, in this regard, that the green and educational spaces as well as the reception structures of the establishment will be upgraded and equipped with additional equipment.
The school will also be accompanied within the framework of its "Eco-School" programme, initiated by the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Protection of the Environment, continues the same source, adding that extracurricular activities on environmental preservation are planned in this sense.
Recognised as being of public utility, the Al Jisr Association was created in 1999. It works to contribute to the awareness and mobilisation of private companies for their involvement in education through the sponsorship of schools.
In 2012, the Casablanca Stock Exchange concluded a first partnership with the Al Jisr Association and the Ministry of National Education by sponsoring, for a period of 3 years, the Touria Chaoui School, in the provincial delegation of Nouaceur.
A year later, the Stock Exchange received the label of the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM), ISO 26000 for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
