The "Oasis" stadium in Casablanca, belonging to the Raja Club Athletic football club, is expected to undergo major renovations in the coming period as part of the Kingdom's preparations to host the next edition of the Africa Cup of Nations "Morocco 2025".
"Hesport" learned from an informed source that the competent authorities decided not to demolish the "Oasis" stadium; instead, it will undergo a comprehensive renovation process, as it is part of the programme of stadiums that will host the training sessions of some national teams during the African Cup.
The same source explained that the renovation process will include the pitch, the stands, the changing rooms, and the facade, and the "Benjelloun" complex belonging to the Wydad Athletic Club and other stadiums are expected to benefit from the same renovations.
The same source stressed that the renovation process will last more than 4 months, so that the "Green" team can benefit from it in the future with professional standards, to host the training sessions of the youth categories of the "Eagles".
It should be noted that the next edition of the Africa Cup of Nations will be hosted by Morocco between December 21, 2025, and January 18, 2026. The Kingdom will also be hosting other football competitions.
