Having become a key element for Real Sociedad, Nayef Aguerd represents a major loss for his coach, Imanol Alguacil. The Txuriurdin coach spoke about this absence in a press conference.
"Aguerd woke up feeling uncomfortable and could not play," declared the Spanish technician, who would prefer to preserve his player and not take any risks for a quick return.
Indeed, Aguerd, who had travelled normally to Ponferrada, was ultimately unable to participate in the clash against the Leonese side due to back pain. The former West Ham player had already missed the clash against Celta after his trip to Vigo due to discomfort that occurred during the warm-up.
