Telephone and communications
Mobile phones, telephone booths, Internet, postal services, fax, and telegrams: you will be able to stay connected during your trip.
Telephone
The network of telephone booths extends into the smallest villages. Nevertheless, in the city, private phone shops, operating with coins, are developing widely. You will recognise them by their sign. Most mobile phone operators have their network, but inform yourself before your departure. Tip: think about prepaid cards. Attention: the rates practised in hotels are sometimes high.
Post
The large network of post offices will facilitate your sending of telegrams, parcels, or faxes, wherever you are. If it is a simple postcard, you will be able to find stamps in newsstands, tobacconists, and at the reception of certain hotels.
Internet
Cybercafés or Internet shops abound in Morocco, notably in large cities. You will find a good connection there for a sum often modest.
To remember
It is not complicated to stay connected to the world from Morocco, the means of communication there are diverse and well distributed.
