Climate and seasons

Beaches or mountains: it is important to know what temperatures and climatic conditions to envisage, throughout the seasons.
Leaving in spring
Morocco offers the guarantee of sunshine of excellent quality the major part of the year. Spring is particularly mild and pleasant. It is around 23-26 °C in Agadir and Marrakech. The trees are in flower and the summit of the mountains still snow-capped... enough to make magnificent photos.
Leaving in summer
The hot temperatures of summer are tempered on the coasts by the wind from the sea. Beyond the High Atlas, the south of the country knows high temperatures (38 °C on average). Take advantage then of the freshness and the exquisite climate that reign in summer in the mountains. Like, for example, in the Val d'Ifrane (at 1,650 metres of altitude) with its pastures, its undergrowth, and its waterfalls. In Morocco, the adequate climate is always at the rendezvous, all seasons combined!
Leaving in winter
The oceanic and Mediterranean climates offer mild temperatures all year round on the coasts. On the reliefs, winter is cold and humid. It is thus that you will be able to go skiing in the Middle Atlas covered with snow when, at the same moment, others will be swimming in Agadir!
Leaving in autumn
It is the season of rest: the nights are longer and the temperatures soften in the interior of the lands. The rains of winter are not yet there and it is always good to swim on the marine coasts.

To remember
The temperate climate of Morocco allows appreciating the riches and the diversity of the country all year round. Come and take advantage of it!
