Written by Mohammed Akil and directed by Mohammed Souhail, the play "Li tlef yched lared" revolves around three young girls working as cleaners in a modest hotel, and who are so obsessed with the idea of finding their soul mate that they make it the centre of their lives.
This play addresses the theme of reluctance to marriage, a purely social phenomenon that is spreading day after day, among young people, which pushes us to ask the right questions about the causes of prolonged celibacy and which can lead overnight to another threat, namely forced marriage.
Performed by actors Samira Hichika, Najat Kanbi, Majda Dayame, Mohammed Akil and Mohammed Kabli, the play is made up of a main plot around which other small stories gravitate that nourish and enrich it, while remaining faithful to the comic aspect which can be savoured with great bursts of laughter from the public present.
It remains to be noted that the Sidi Belyout Spring Festival will continue to delight the people of Casablanca, until Sunday 29 April, with an open-air closing evening which will pay a vibrant tribute to Moroccan song with the participation of Abdelali Anouar, Nadia Mokhtar, the twin sisters Safaâ and Hanaâ, without forgetting the famous Tagadda group.
