The 5 stars Riad Farnatchi was converted by the current owners father- an award winning British hotelier. Riad Farnatchi now has the feel of a beautiful- highly individual- private house- but the facilities of a world class 5 star boutique hotel. Riad Farnatchi has been totally rebuilt incorporating modern wiring- smoke detectors and heavy quality room doors. The furniture fabulously designed is also comfortable- possibly a first amongst Riads in the Medina. The bedrooms have adjustable lighting that can be romantic and practical- both rather than one or the other. All rooms are individually designed with huge attention to detail- they are the biggest rooms in the Medina and all have the comfort and facilities that you would expect of a world class five star hotel including satellite TV- hairdryer- Bose iPod docs- CD player- desk- separate sitting area- safe- air conditioning- working fire place- fresh fruit- mineral water- complimentary snacks- Egyptian cotton sheets- phone- free WLAN and high speed LAN internet access. The public areas on the ground floor are a collection of traditionally proportioned rooms and Bhous- covered sitting areas with one side open to an internal courtyard- that allow guests to either meet together in groups or to find their own private corner. In addition- each room has at least one private sitting area. Quite uniquely- almost every piece of furniture has been specially designed and made for Riad Farnatchi in Marrakech. The style reflects a fascinating fusion of traditional Moroccan and modern European design. Parking is very limited- if you require parking please contact the hotel directly. Additional Information- Children age 12 and under stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding. Children over this age will be considered an adult.
