Good food , a little bit expensive , and bad service (waiters arent even wearing the same clothes , confused and use familiar language) .

Super menu with reasonable price

According to a rich expatriate friend, Restaurant L'Océan located on Plage Sidi Kacem and 20 minutes by car from downtown Tangier, is the best restaurant in Tangier. You definitely can't beat the directly-on-the-beach atmosphere, with superb French cuisine, specializing in fresh fish, and the clientele is oh, so fashionable. The prices are on the high side but well worth paying since the food portions are generous, fresh, delicious and always attractively presented and efficiently served. There are excellent wines and cocktails, as well as yummy desserts. In Tangier, there is Villa Josephine; there is Le Mirage; and there is the wonderful L'Océan. It is pure delight to be far away from the constant annoying honking horns and loud ambulances in downtown Tangier and the entire place is casually elegant and beautiful.

Nice food with great view, but extremely lousy service. Only those who know the owner are offered the nice tables. I have tried it twice but will not go there again.

20 mins by car from downtown Tangier. Very expensive compared to the local area, normal prices compared to major European cities. But food was great! And they served beer. Had a view of the ocean, I had no problem with this place.
