The family (assuming they are a family) that runs the place are extremely nice and friendly. The food I would say is okay in quality and price but of course for Morocco if you are a tourist you generally are getting over charged on everything anywhere. We had a hard time finding a good place in general so Chez Maimonide still was one of the better places to eat. Although, the almond chicken was extremely chewy and I have the suspicion that the food there was microwaved and then served to us as the chicken Pastille was hot in some places and cold in others.... But since they don't seem to get constant traffic there I suppose they aren't constantly keeping things freshly made?

We really enjoyed our meal at Chez Maimonide. The family running the restaurant were very kind and hospitable and the food was made with a lot of love (the kofta tajine was excellent!). Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Fez and hoping to eat a home-cooked meal.

We actually confused this place with Cafe Clock, which we planned to go to, but we do not regret. Good starter, excellent tajine with almonds, and perfect morrocan tea. Quick service. The portions were not very big, so probably not the best place to go if you're very hungry, especially that it's quite expensive comparing to other restaurants in the medina.

Fantastic experience - wonderful food - very friendly family

A family restaurant which feels very authentic. The food had wonderful flavours and well priced for the quality. The lamb tajine was one of the best we've had so far on our trip and the pasilla was so delicious.
